Twotrees Technologies Showcases ActiveFloor at Westmoore High School

On June 26, 2025, Twotrees Technologies hosted an exciting technology demonstration at Westmoore High School in Moore, Oklahoma, bringing together schools from across the OKC metro area. Among the innovative products featured was ActiveFloor, an interactive floor learning program designed to engage students in a fun, active, and educational way. James Pratt and Sally Blank led a lively demonstration, highlighting how teachers can use ActiveFloor to enhance learning for students from pre-K to 12th grade.

A Fun and Engaging Learning Experience

The demonstration showcased the ActiveFloor Mobile Max unit, a dynamic platform preloaded with educational content tailored for pre-K through 12th-grade students. As Sally Blank explained, the floor is organized by grade level, game type, and subject-specific playlists, covering topics like English Language Arts (ELA), math, science, and social studies. For example, elementary students in grades four and five can explore games aligned with Common Core standards, such as matching human body systems to their functions, like identifying that the heart filters and removes waste from the blood.

The interactive floor allows users to navigate menus and select games using their feet, making it an intuitive and engaging experience. Sally demonstrated how teachers can adjust the difficulty of games, such as playing with cards face-up to discuss content, ensuring accessibility for students who might find certain topics challenging. This flexibility makes ActiveFloor adaptable to various learning needs and classroom environments.

Customization and Collaboration

One of the standout features of ActiveFloor is its versatility. Teachers can choose from 23 pre-made game templates or create their own, tailoring activities to specific lessons or subjects. As James Pratt noted, this allows educators to “regulate” the content to suit their classroom needs. Teachers can also share their custom games with colleagues, fostering collaboration and enabling a community of educators to exchange innovative ideas.

The games are designed to get students moving, with activities that increase heart rates while reinforcing classroom learning. During the demo, James and Sally playfully competed in a color-matching game, stomping on their assigned colors as they appeared on the floor. This lighthearted moment underscored the program’s ability to make learning fun and physically active, a key benefit for keeping students engaged.

Benefits for Students and Teachers

ActiveFloor combines education with physical activity, offering a unique way to reinforce academic concepts while keeping students active. As James Pratt highlighted, the platform allows kids to “have fun playing and learn at the same time.” Whether smashing colors or navigating subject-specific challenges, students can review classroom material in an interactive environment that encourages movement and collaboration.

The demonstration at Westmoore High School showcased how ActiveFloor can transform traditional learning by integrating technology, physical activity, and academic content. With its ability to cater to all ages and subjects, plus the option for teachers to create and share custom games, ActiveFloor is a powerful tool for modern classrooms.
